Locks were no problem after all, but we had a good stop yesterday night, complete with a hail storm in the evening! This is summer, right??? We're here now in Coteau Landing, QC, tied up in an abandoned canal. It's been WINDY, and quite chilly, and had some intermittent rain, but continue to meet great and helpful people and to have a great time! Tomorrow: Montreal! I can't wait!!

Headed out today after a wonderful time in Ottawa - are tied up here above the three locks at Long Island on the Rideau Canal...stopped enroute at the dock of people we'd met in St. Augustine and went grocery shopping!!

Arrived here at the Big Chute Marine Railway after an idyllic day on the water - the weather is perfect and the scenery breathtaking! Planning on taking the Railway tomorrow and on to Georgian Bay, if they can get the Railway fixed...you should have seen the sparks!!!!!
